A Note to Our Guests
Ralph and I are beginning our 16th year here at the 1889 WhiteGate Inn and look forward to many more years. Over the years we have met some incredible people and have worked to make our Asheville NC Bed and Breakfast a warm and relaxing place for our guests. Our staff is just as dedicated as we are and we would like to introduce some of them to you.
Kyle Samples has been a part of our Asheville North Carolina Inn since September 2010. Originally from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Kyle spent the last three years at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia. Kyle is also a graduate of Morehead State University, where he received his degree in Music Performance.
Thomas Sittineri has been a part of the WhiteGate family since May of 2013. Before joining the inn, Thomas was a dental assistant & candy maker in historic Cape May, New Jersey. Thomas lives an active lifestyle and loves to travel abroad. He has visited England, Germany, Poland, Australia, Bermuda and (his favorite) Netherlands. Thomas loves cooking and gardening.
Crystal Wilson has had experience in housekeeping has worked at the Inn the longest in her career. Crystal has worked for The Americinn and Suites in Lithonia, Georgia and the Indigo Hotel in Asheville before becoming the Director of Housekeeping at the 1889 WhiteGate inn. She enjoys her life as an engaged women who hopes on having her marriage ceremony here at the Inn. Crystal has been at the WhiteGate Inn for a little over two years and is looking forward to being a part of the WhiteGate family for a long time to come.
Andrew McFadyen has been cooking and gardening for the past 5 years, from the Blue Ridge of North Carolina to the Redwoods of California, on farms, fine dining restaurants, and his own kitchen. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Sustainable Development, Andrew plans on living the good life until he can’t any more. Food is life, and every dish is an expression of gratitude for the wonderful world we live in. He hopes to settle on a little piece of land nearby Asheville some day soon, start his own farm, and make delicious and beautiful food for everyone around. Also, he is devilishly handsome and, like, scary intelligent.
