DuPont State Forest

Recently, we sent a couple of guests to explore the area that was made famous by the Hunger Games. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains between Hendersonville and Brevard, DuPont offers adventurers a chance to see the regions most spectacular waterfalls.

Asheville Urban Trail

The Asheville Urban Trail is an exciting (and historical) way to see much of our lovely downtown. The tour is a mere 1.7 miles and will thrust you into the deep history starting with the Gilded Age through the Age of Diversity.

Montreat College

The trail system above Montreat College boasts over 20 miles of hiking trails on 2500 pristine acres. A wonderful winter hike with sprawling views of the mountains is reached by trekking up Graybeard trail to Graybeard Mountain. And it’s located less than thirty minutes from our Asheville bed and breakfast!
