The Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association is holding a tour of Inns on April 16th and 17th. This two-day event offers tour goers a glimpse into our historic residences while providing delicious culinary treats along the way. Each Asheville Inn has partnered with a local restaurant, and tour goers will be able to enjoy the homes and gardens of some of Asheville’s historic properties while sampling fine cuisine from around the city.
The 1889 WhiteGate Inn, the closest Inn to Downtown Asheville, has partnered with The Market Place Restaurant and will be on the tour Sunday from 12:00-4:00pm.
Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple and cover both days of the tour. They can be purchased by credit card online through April 8th by visiting http://www.ashevillebba.com/tour/ or at the Asheville shop in the Chamber of Commerce visitor’s Center beginning April 1oth. Welcome bags with the tour brochure, map, and tickets will be available for pick-up for online pre-orders and walk-in orders at The Asheville Shop between April 10th and 17th. The Spring INN Asheville tour is a self-guided tour. Your tour ticket must be presented at each Inn on the tour.
Discover 14 of Asheville’s finest Inns on tour over this two-day event. 8 Inns will be on tour on Saturday followed by 6 more on Sunday, including our historic Asheville inn. Each Asheville Inn will open their doors from 12:00pm until 4:00pm and a portion of the proceeds from the tour will also be benefiting Manna Foodbank.

The 1889 WhiteGate Inn is excited that the tour is being held at the peak of Spring bloom. Throughout the gardens you will see dogwoods, redbuds, crabapples, and cherry trees in full bloom along with hundreds of Spring bulbs. And, of course, the greenhouse will be full of blooming orchids!
